Canterbury Golf Club is a classical golf course located in one of Cleveland's most scenic suburbs. The facility consists of an 18 hole golf course of exceptional design originally created by Herbert Strong, acclaimed golf course architect and founding member of the PGA of America. Canterbury also has a clubhouse and restaurant, as well as a driving range facility, swimming pool, tennis courts, and paddle courts. For 100 years, Canterbury has aimed to create an excellent experience for members and their guests.
The original Canterbury Course was designed by one of our founding members, Englishman, Herbert Strong. Mr. Strong was an excellent player in his own right but his ability to design a golf course would be his enduring legacy. From Bryson Dechambeau to Jack Nicklaus, some of golf's best known names have tested their skills here at one of Cleveland's finest courses.

Canterbury Golf Club has been nationally recognized as one of the top 100 golf courses in the U.S. and one of the finest in Ohio. Designed by Herbet Strong, the traditional Scottish course was expertly constructed to embrace the area's natural topography resulting in a demanding, but fair, course with a great variation of holes.
